The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight round fight which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the two fighters confronted each other to publicize next month's boxing match.
Ex two-time world boxing king Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive mismatch - at Miami venue on 19 December.
Fighter's Mentality
"I'm going to break his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Civil Exchange
Despite these statements, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically famous for his dramatics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead attacked former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after the Cameroonian declined a fight offer.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, criticized British rival Tyson Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer said.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Fighter
Despite saying he intends to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Paul's History
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
Still, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of the sport's greatest money-making draws, frequently receiving huge paydays.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old forecast a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would stop the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly in the works for two years from now.
"It will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul said.
Size Disparity
As the two fighters engaged in the customary confrontation, with their size difference clearly visible, it drove home just how surprising this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is truly going ahead.
